Tenoch's Turmoil

Tenoch is a loving husband who must collect fruit for his wife, Chantico. However, their livelihood is at the mercy of the god Netzahualcoyotl, who can only be appeased by offering the fruit that he desires. 

Netzahualcoyotl is picky eater and will have his EYES set on the fruit he is craving.

CONTROLS

• WASD/Arrow keys - Move
• Spacebar - Jump

INSTRUCTIONS

• Give fruit to Netzahualcoyotl to avoid his wrath… temporarily
  • Only the fruit he's got his eye on will satisfy him
  • All other fruit generously offered to Netzahualcoyotl is lost
• Give fruit to Chantico to score points
  • Yellow fruit gives you a speed boost
  • Blue fruit gives you an extra jump
  • Power-ups are lost on your next delivery
  • Power-ups stack! Triple up on speed boosts and jumps!

CHANGELOG

[2018-12-13] Tenoch’s movement speed is now independent of framerate. This fixes a bug we introduced on the last day of the jam which rendered the game effectively unplayable for a subset of people.
